SojournerSupport.com is the website for Sojourner Support, LLC, an organization dedicated to providing support for various aspects of the life-journey. The Sojourner Support website features a variety of resources. These include Sojourner Sanctuary and Sojourner Choral Music Library. Included as a part of Sojourner Sanctuary are Prayers for the Journey, Ponderous Thoughts (inspirational-thought provoking commentary), Sojourner Recorded Music (original recorded songs), Sojourner Poetry, Sojourner Services (information about Sojourner workshops and presentations), The Sojourner monthly newsletter, and products for the journey as shown in the Sojourner Gift Shop. Sojourner Choral Music Library contains a listing and samples of the choral works and vocal solos available for purchase.
Sojourner Support, LLC was founded in 2006 by Evelyn Steiner Sánchez who functions as the president of the company. Evelyn formed the company to bring together several interests and gifts in her life – that of serving others as a board certified interfaith chaplain and pastoral care minister, and that of expressing various aspects of the human life-journey experience through the composing of sacred and inspirational music.
Evelyn, now a retired educator, worked for twenty-nine years as a teacher and administrator. She is a board-certified chaplain with hospital chaplaincy experience. Evelyn is actively involved in her faith community where she serves in many capacities. She is currently serving as a volunteer chaplain for a local hospital, a life-balance facilitator, a Reiki practitioner, and an instructor of religious studies at the community college level. She is married to Luis and is the proud grandmother of two step-granddaughters.
